2013 Spring Tournament SemifinalsNine teams of SUMMA student debaters competed March 1-2 at Little Rock’s Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in SUMMA’s first Spring Tournament!

The winning team included Miller Wilbourn (captain) and Channa Childs; team members Cally Cochran and Hannah Tackett were unable to attend the tournament but were contributors in the research and development of the team’s arguments.

Finalist team members were Annie Meek (captain), Walt Peterson and Jane Justus.

Tournament Finals


The Rev. Canon Christoph Keller, Th.D. presented awards to the winning and finalist team members, and preached the homily at the closing Eucharist and Awards Presentation service.
